While bathing, wash your full body with soap and rinse thoroughly. Rinsing with soap washes out the dead cells, germs and oils from your skin. You should also shampoo your hair at least twice a week. Regular shampooing is essential for maintaining good scalp health and good-looking hair. Otherwise, your hair will get messy and many scalp problems such as dandruff, lice etc will arrive.

3. Trim Your Nails

Nails can contain dirt and many germs when they are grown up. Germs get mixed up with foods and go into your mouth from your nails. Besides, untrimmed nails give you a bad appearance to others. Even the clean hands can contain these germs which we don’t see through our bare eyes. These germs can get into our body through our mouth, nose and eyes since we touch these organs frequently and subconsciously, and we may get sick.

So, it’s important to wash your hands frequently and thoroughly. Wash your hands with soap or handwash for at least 20 seconds. Washing hands rinse out the germs from your hands and keep you safe. You must wash your hands before eating or handling food and after handling any dirty things. If it isn’t possible to wash hands, then use alcohol-based hand sanitizer to kill the germs on your hands.

5. Maintain Respiratory Hygiene

Germs can spread out from you while coughing and sneezing and infect others. So, you should always cover your face before coughing and sneezing. Use a tissue or hand towel. Dispose of the tissue immediately into a rubbish bin. If these aren’t available fold your elbow and cover your face, but don’t use your palms. This practice prevents the spreading of respiratory droplets which contain many germs. If you have any respiratory problem, then put a mask on your face when you go out.
